FC Porto and Legends have recently announced a multi-channel partnership. Moreover, Legends will provide their expertise through the 360-degree platform to drive growth and further strengthen the FC Porto brand globally. Through this partnership Legends is supporting FC Porto in developing revolutionary business model that consists of:
• Transforming the fan experience supporting global partnerships as the Food and Beverage experience at Estádio do Dragão, namely in FC Porto Partner’s Club VIP boxes and seats.
• Collaborate with FC Porto to explore opportunities to improve the overall fan experience at the stadium and enhance commercial opportunities.
THE ROLE
The Waiter/F&B Service Associate will deliver efficient, high-quality food and beverage service within a fast-paced stadium environment, ensuring excellent guest experience during events while maximizing service speed, accuracy, and revenue.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Guest Service
Provide friendly, energetic, and professional service to all guests in a high-volume environment.
Greet guests promptly and assist with seating where applicable (hospitality/VIP areas).
Take and process food and beverage orders quickly and accurately.
Deliver orders efficiently while maintaining customer interaction standards.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
Service Execution
Operate within quick-service, casual dining, or premium hospitality areas (VIP lounges, boxes, or restaurants).
Serve food and beverages according to stadium service standards.
Ensure accuracy of orders under time pressure.
Maintain awareness of event timing (kick-off, halftime, end of match) to optimize service flow.
Clear tables and maintain cleanliness during and after service.
Cash Handling & POS
Process transactions using POS systems accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash, cards, and mobile payments according to company policies.
Ensure correct billing and reconciliation at the end of the shift.
Operational Duties
Set up service stations and ensure full stock before event start.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Restock food, beverages, and service materials as needed during service.
Follow all food safety (HACCP) and alcohol service regulations.
Teamwork & Coordination
Work closely with kitchen, bar, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
Support colleagues during peak periods (before match, halftime, post-match).
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding issues or shortages.
Customer Experience & Brand Representation
Represent the club/stadium brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Create a positive matchday atmosphere through engagement and energy.
Deliver service aligned with fan expectations and hospitality standards.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High energy and customer-focused attitude.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Good teamwork and coordination.
Basic numeracy and POS handling skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in F&B, events, or hospitality preferred.
Experience in stadiums, large venues, or high-volume environments is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
