THE ROLE
The Finance Manager is responsible for all financial aspects related to Legends’ Hospitality business in Madrid and plays a key role in improving financial performance and safeguarding assets.
The role requires someone with the ability to run the day-to-day finance function for the Hospitality division, working effectively with internal and external stakeholders to implement best in class policies & procedures, and to leverage the support of external stakeholders to ensure the company adheres to local regulatory requirements.
A significant focus will be to partner with the Hospitality division during operational planning and delivery; this will involve business partnering with the General Manager and senior management team, helping to implement and develop new Hospitality systems, managing budgets, enforcing controls and working closely with accounting and AP functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Establish and implement policies & procedures relevant to the Hospitality division to operate a best-in-class finance function.
Responsible for all financial reporting & compliance processes for the Hospitality division.
Ensure a timely and accurate month end closing process for the Hospitality division, with delivery of management reporting and commentary.
Represent the Finance team in system implementation and development for the Hospitality division.
Build solid working relationships with business and department leaders, supporting the planning and operational delivery.
Support the Finance Director during budgeting, forecasting and financial planning & analysis.
Ensure the business follows all statutory reporting and tax compliance processes, leveraging local professional services.
Key involvement in cashflow management and reporting in Iberia.
Assistance with annual audit process.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 5 years of Finance experience covering all principal areas of accounting and including Financial Planning & Analysis experience.
• Accounting qualification and/or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office software required. PowerBi experience a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to connect financial accounting information with its business context.
• Proactive attitude and strong ability to building relationships with business partners.
• Must be highly analytical, have the ability to think creatively and be proactive in striving for continuous process improvement.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish & English, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Must be flexible to work occasionally extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
