The Role
The E-Commerce Trading Director – Iberia is a senior, commercially driven leader responsible for driving ecommerce performance across a portfolio of merchandise partners within the Iberian region.
This role acts as the strategic and operational bridge between Legends and our regional merchandise partners, ensuring alignment across trading, merchandising, marketing, and digital execution. The core objective is to deliver profitable, high-performing ecommerce programs by partnering closely with buying, merchandising, and marketing teams to optimize assortment, inventory flow, campaign activation, and digital execution tailored to the Iberian market.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Strategy & Commercial Ownership
Lead ecommerce trading strategy for Iberian partners.
Deliver regional revenue, margin, conversion, and AOV targets.
Act as senior commercial escalation point.
Run structured business reviews with insights, growth plans, and risk mitigation.
Merchandising & Inventory
Partner with buying/merch teams on assortment, launches, pricing, and sell‑through.
Use analytics to optimize stock depth, lifecycle, and campaign priorities.
Align campaign calendars with product availability.
Maintain high merchandising standards across Iberian sites.
Trading & Performance Optimization
Grow key metrics: traffic, conversion, AOV, and UPT.
Lead A/B testing and experimentation.
Identify friction points and partner with UX/dev teams to improve journeys.
Maximize platform capabilities and third‑party tool performance.
Marketing Collaboration
Work with CRM, PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Display, and Paid Social to ensure cohesive execution.
Provide commercial input into campaigns and promotions.
Track marketing efficiency and contribution to targets.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Coordinate with ecommerce, design, development, and operations for seamless execution.
Influence roadmaps to support Iberian trading needs.
Lead change initiatives aligned to market requirements.
Report performance and risks to senior leadership.
Team Leadership
Coach and develop account managers.
Set KPIs aligned to commercial goals.
Foster a performance‑driven, data‑led culture.
What we're looking for:
Extensive experience leading retail ecommerce operations, ideally in sports or licensed merchandise.
Strong understanding of Iberian ecommerce markets.
Proven record of driving revenue growth and margin improvements.
Advanced knowledge of analytics, ecommerce tech, and trading KPIs.
Skilled in A/B testing, experimentation, and performance optimization.
Solid understanding of inventory management and product lifecycle planning.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (Spanish/English desirable).
Highly organized with strong project management abilities.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Willing to travel and work flexibly.
