About the Role
The Retail Chef is responsible for leading all culinary operations across public concourse and kiosk units, ensuring consistent food quality, speed of service, food safety, and commercial performance on match days and non match day events.
The role focuses on high volume production, team leadership, and operational excellence across retail food offerings such as burgers, hotdogs, pies, fries and street food concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day to day kitchen operations across all retail kiosks and public food units
Ensure Food is produced to brand standards, specifications, and service timelines
Lead match day service planning, including prep schedules, staffing levels and logistics
Maintain seamless communication between central production kitchens and retail outlets
Ensure full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and allergen regulations
Monitor product consistency, presentation and portion control across all units
Conduct regular audits and quality checks pre -service and during live events
Implement and maintain accurate allergen and labelling procedures
Support Menu Development with focus on speed, profitability and fan experience
Mange food costs, waste and stock control across all retail operations
Work closely with procurement and operations teams on forecasting and ordering
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and revenue
Recruit, Train and develop kiosk and retail culinary teams
Lead and motivate large casual workforces in a face pace environment
Mange Rotas, Labour costs and performance standards
Foster a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence
We are looking for someone with:
Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in high volume retail, stadia or large -scale events
Strong operational knowledge of fast paced food service environments
Experience managing large teams, including casual or agency staff
Excellent understanding of food safety, and compliance standards
Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and food cost
Strong organisational leadership, and communication skills
Calm and decisive under pressure
Highly organised and process driven
Hands on leadership style
Passion for quality and fan /customer experience
Collaborative and solutions focused
