About the Role

Utilita Arena Sheffield opened in 1991, is a vibrant multi-purpose venue that hosts world-class concerts, sporting events, and family entertainment. With a capacity of up to 13,600, it is one of the UK's premier indoor arenas, having welcomed legendary acts like Elton John, Arctic Monkeys, and Oasis. The “House of Steel” is also home to the Elite League Grand Slam championship-winning ice hockey team, the Sheffield Steelers. Known for its electric atmosphere and iconic performances, the arena offers an exciting, fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Maintaining and repairing electrical and engineering systems across the arena and theatre venues, including low-voltage distribution, HVAC controls, and life safety systems such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, UPS, and generators.
• Carrying out inspections, testing, and fault finding on electrical equipment, completing minor installations or refurbishments, and assisting contractors with building services upgrades and new works.
• Using the CAFM system to manage, record, and monitor all planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient task completion.
• Supervising and supporting external contractors, ensuring all work is delivered safely, to a high standard, and with minimal disruption to the venue’s operations.
• Championing health and safety practices, including preparing risk assessments, reporting incidents, and maintaining constant vigilance in line with Legends Global’s policies and standards.

You will have:

• Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
• 3 Years post-qualification experience of undertaking Electrical Maintenance in the Commercial / Industrial sector.
• BS7671, 18th Edition of Wiring Regulations.
• BS2391, Electrical Inspection and Testing (or equivalent BS2394 and BS2395).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
