Hospitality Manager
The Venue
Home to one of the world’s most iconic football clubs, Stamford Bridge is a global stage for elite sport and unforgettable fan experiences. Founded in 1905, Chelsea FC competes at the highest level of domestic and European football, supported by world‑class hospitality and non‑matchday events. At the heart of West London sporting life, Legends Global works in partnership with Chelsea FC as their official F&B provider to deliver excellence on and off the pitch.
The Role
As a Premium Hospitality Manager, you will lead the delivery of exceptional guest experiences across Chelsea Football Club's premium hospitality spaces. Responsible for overseeing hospitality operations within suites, lounges, restaurants, or bar areas on matchdays and event days, you'll ensure service is seamless, efficient, and consistently delivered to the highest standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate teams, manage guest expectations, drive service excellence, and ensure every hospitality experience reflects the premium standards of Chelsea Football Club and Legends.
This is a casual, event-based position, offering flexible shifts around Chelsea Football Club's matchday and events calendar. Shifts are available primarily during evenings, weekends, matchdays, and special events, making this an ideal opportunity for hospitality professionals seeking flexible work in a fast-paced sporting environment.
The Responsibilities
Lead hospitality service delivery across assigned premium areas, ensuring an outstanding guest experience throughout each matchday or event.
Act as a visible and approachable leader, supporting operational teams and maintaining exceptional service standards.
Deliver pre-event briefings and oversee opening and closing procedures to ensure operational readiness.
Coordinate guest seating plans, suite allocations, reservations, and VIP requirements, ensuring all special requests are managed effectively.
Build positive relationships with guests, handling concerns professionally and delivering effective service recovery where required.
Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between front-of-house teams, kitchen, bar, hosts, and premium hospitality colleagues.
Oversee accurate order taking, service standards, allergen management, licensing compliance, and Challenge 25 procedures.
Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness, ambience, and operational readiness across all premium hospitality areas.
Complete shift reports, incident logs, and guest feedback summaries, escalating operational issues where necessary.
Support team development by coaching colleagues, motivating teams, and leading by example during service.
What we're looking for
Previous leadership experience within premium hospitality environments such as stadiums, sports venues, hotels, restaurants, corporate hospitality settings, or large-scale events.
Strong operational and floor management skills, with the ability to lead teams during busy matchday and event operations.
Excellent guest service and relationship management capabilities, with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
A confident decision-maker with experience handling guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery.
Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Knowledge of licensing requirements, Challenge 25, allergen management, and health and safety standards.
The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Availability to work flexible, casual shifts, including evenings, weekends, matchdays, and special events.
