ABOUT THE ROLE
The Human Resources Business Partner is an integral part of delivering our promise to our guests. The HRBP will be responsible for executing the strategy and assisting with full employee lifecycle processes. The HRBP will report to the Head of HR Iberia and will partner with the operational managers on key initiatives that drive customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with leaders and teams, ensuring HR strategies, processes and practices are effectively implemented and aligned with business objectives.
Act as a strategic partner to the business across all People & Culture matters, providing expert HR guidance in a fast-paced operational environment.
Partner in the preparation, review and management of all required HR documentation in compliance with Portuguese labor law.
Manage the full employee lifecycle in Factorial, ensuring all employee records and documentation are up to date. Resolving issues and implementing new features.
Create contracts, update, and manage employee documentation and HR templates.
Coordinate with the payroll provider for new hire registrations with Social Security and review employment contracts.
Issue employment certificates and other documents requested by employees.
Keep records of maternity leave, paternity leave, sick leave, other absences, and paid leave according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Check in/out in Factorial, ensuring it is done correctly.
Support in managing employee relation issues (warnings, sanctions, dismissal, inspections)
Ensure compliance with performance review processes.
Coordinate training.
Ensure company compliance with all existing governmental, labor and social security reporting requirements.
Lead employee relations investigations related to policy breaches, misconduct, absenteeism, performance issues or legal violations, ensuring confidentiality, fairness and timely resolution.
Advise managers on working time regulations, overtime authorization, shift planning and cost control, identifying risks and proposing corrective actions when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Personal attributes:
Experience managing HRIS platforms (Factorial experience is highly desirable).
Experience supporting payroll administration and maintaining employee records.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience coordinating HR documentation, compliance, and reporting.
Commercial and highly results oriented.
Strategic planning and awareness.

Pragmatic, flexible, and resilient style.
Fluent in English (written and spoken), Spanish is a plus.
Education Requirement:
Relevant professional degree/post graduate accreditation in Human Resources
AND/OR
Experience:
Proven experience of working in a start-up/hyper growth environment.
Proven experience in a similar role (minimum 5 years).
Current knowledge of Portuguese employment and related laws.
Experience of working with outsourced payroll bureaus.
Proven experience handle different Collective Bargain Agreement.
