ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Director to build on our incredibly successful opening and lead Kai Tak Sports Park into the next exciting phase of growth and innovation. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the operations and success of one of Asia’s most iconic venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to all departments and operations within the precinct.
• Build, lead and foster a high-performance and harmonious culture, promoting Kai Tak Sports Park’s values.
• Drive commercial growth, operational excellence, and customer experience.
• Interface with key clients at the highest level.

ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a General Manager of a major stadium, arena, or large-scale entertainment precinct.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, high-profile venues or developments
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and operational planning skills
• Experience working in Asia is advantageous but not essential.
• A passion for sport, entertainment, and community impact.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Kai Tak Sports Park is a Design, Build and Operate project funded by the Hong Kong SAR Government. Opened on 1 March 2025, it is Hong Kong's first multi-purpose sports, entertainment and leisure precinct, providing world-class venues and facilities for major events and community enjoyment. Spanning 28 hectares on the historic site of the former Kai Tak Airport, the precinct features:

• A 50,000-seat Main Stadium

• A 10,000-seat Indoor Arena
• A 5,000-seat Sports Ground
• A 40-lane Bowling Alley
• Extensive community sports facilities
• A 600 person children’s playground facility
• Over 200 retail and dining outlets

As a world-class, multi-purpose destination, Kai Tak Sports Park is redefining how Hong Kong experiences sport, entertainment, and community engagement.

Kai Tak Sports Park Ltd (KTSPL) has been awarded the contract to undertake this project. Legends Global (LG) has been engaged by KTSPL to be the Operator of Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP).
