About the Role
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of identifying and shaping new opportunities across Europe. You’ll take ownership of early-stage opportunity investigation, gathering intelligence, engaging with clients and third parties, and positioning projects for success. By managing initial conversations, circulating insights, and escalating potential opportunities to the broader Business Development team, you’ll help drive informed decision-making and pipeline growth.
This role also provides a critical client-facing presence, allowing you to build strong relationships, support strategic initiatives, and collaborate with senior leaders to develop opportunities the business chooses to pursue. Your work will directly contribute to expanding our reach, accelerating growth, and strengthening our market position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and investigate early-stage opportunities, gathering relevant information and assessing potential projects for strategic fit.
- Engage with clients and third parties, managing initial conversations to understand their needs and positioning potential opportunities effectively.
- Triage and escalate opportunities to appropriate business units and senior leadership within the Business Development team and European hierarchy.
- Support the development of selected opportunities, collaborating with senior leaders to shape proposals and drive pipeline growth.
- Maintain clear documentation and reporting, including circulating summaries, tracking progress, and providing insights to inform decision-making and strategy.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in business development, client relationship management, or sales within a B2B or corporate environment.
- Track record of identifying, evaluating, and advancing new opportunities from early-stage investigation to strategic decision-making.
- Strong experience in engaging with senior clients and third-party stakeholders, building credibility and influencing outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to triage opportunities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the development of proposals or projects.
- Experience in research, market analysis, and reporting, providing actionable insights to inform business strategy and pipeline growth.
