CGC Event Caterers are on the look out for a Kitchen Porter to join the team to work at Beverley Racecourse!

Situated in the heart of the beautiful, historic market town of Beverley, the racecourse has 19 race days a year from April to September alongside a number of conferencing and events throughout the year. We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to work over our incredibly busy festive period at Beverley- going into the next racing season too!

POT WASH RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating the Pot Wash machine and cleaning of all utensils and crockery
• General cleanliness and maintenance of the venue
• Washing up the Kitchen during and after service
• Closing down the KP area and resetting for the following day
• Compliance with Health and Safety standards
• General assistance with other departments as and if required

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Must be able to commute to and from Beverley during unsociable hours
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the kitchen organised, stocked and clean
• Hard-working, self-motivated and reliable

Recruitment Process Outlined:

To be successful, you MUST be able to attend an Assessment Centre on the 18th November 2025 and attend a Training Induction on the 24th November 2025.
